An orientation program was held in our faculty conference hall with the participation of our Vice Department Heads, Dr. Çiğdem DÖNMEZ GÜNGÜNEŞ, and Dr. Sabiha ŞENSÖZ, along with first-year students. This program allowed students to meet with our faculty members.
An introduction was made to Hitit University, the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. Information was provided on the university and department's educational processes, the scope of the Nutrition and Dietetics undergraduate program, the expected student approach, the university's social activities, events, club activities, and other facilities; student rights, course registration, attendance, course exemptions, exams, relative assessment, distance learning courses, and system usage; and information on topics such as the Rectorate, our university campus (North Campus and South Campus), library services, Erasmus+ and Farabi exchange programs, and loans/scholarships. The program also provided information on our university campus, faculty, library, cafeteria, and other related topics. Unit introductions and information about student projects were shared.
We exchanged views with our students to support a productive academic process.
